Touch of Vanilla: Welcome to my Life

Morning everyone! I'm sorry I been so busy! I never had the time to do much blogging the past few days and for that I'm sorry. But today I bring you a special post. Not one about fashion or shopping and what not. No one about my life, and about the people that mean the most to me, my family. My name is Nara, and I've not been playing a kid long...but I've come to realize, that it's the best thing you could possibly be in SL. You can act like a child again, no matter how old. I know to some people thats bizarre, but to us SL kids, it means alot. I've got the chance to make so many new wonderful friends in the kids world, and I'm thankful for that. When I was a child growing up, I never had any friends, because of my speech problems, and the weird ways I acted like (I've always been a nerd -.-) But in SL, people accept you, they don't judge you, make fun of the way you speak or dress, they respect you. SL and the people in it have taught me many things about life, and I've come to enjoy my RL more and more because of the inspiration of others inworld. So this is where family comes in. I've had a couple families in my SL, but none ever lasted, never supported me and protected me, not quite like my family I have now. I've never connected to any as much as I have now. I have one of the best families in SL that supports me no matter what, and for once, I mean no matter what. I love to bits and pieces almost more then I love my rl family. They've shown me what a real family looks like after I've grown up with such a broken family, and to me that means the world.

This is my older sissy, Aimee Allen, owner of Funkalicious (See post tomorrow!), and one of the bestest sissy's anyone could ever ask for. I've only known her for a few months, but I will never forget the time we have spent together so far. She is one of the most talented, creative people I've ever met on SL. She is funny, silly, but caring and sweet at the same time, always apologizing and making sure everyone is ok...though she does love to give our poor parents heartattacks with her piercings and boyfriends. But it's stuff like that, that makes me love her so much. I hope she is my sissy forever and ever...because I'm forever grateful to her for making my life fun. I can't wait to make more amazing memories with this girl soon. (Below some snapshots with/of my sissy!)

This is Haku, my twin brother, and best friend in rl and sl. I met him growing up years ago, but it wasn't until a couple years ago that we became real real close. I love him ti bits and pieces, and do everything in SL and RL with him when I can, he is so fun, funny crazy, everything I could ask for. I donno what'd I do without hims seriously I don't. He is my rock, my support, my everything, overall best friend. I could ramble forever and ever, but in short I loves him for his unicorn obsession, questionable sexuality, racism about himself, and his random outbursts. He is my special BFF forever and always, and I'll never give him up!

So...I've saved the very best for very last. This is my Momma and Daddy. The people who have shown me what the word 'family' really means, and how to love someone unconditionally.

This is my daddy, Deimos Endrizzi. The best daddy I've ever seen. Unlike so many other men in SL, and other dad I've had, he actually cares! I loves him lots, because like me he is a ner- excuse me, geek. We first bonded over anime and video games the night I met him, and a few nights later he was attempting to teach me how to play greedy. He is such a positive, hard working guy, who supports our family so well. He always tries his hardest to be the very best daddy ever, and I thinks he does an amazing job. He is caring and funny, though he cheats at greedy and connect 4...but I'll forgive him. I promise to always be here for you daddy, like you've been here for me. Your the best, and don't ever think your not, because you and momma make my sl complete.

You inspire me to be more positive no matter how hard things get, and to keep going, and I hope someday to be able to be like you.

So last but certainly not least (I saved best for last yah?) this is my Momma, Brigitte Galicia, a very special woman in my life. She has shown me so much, and has done so much for me. When I first met her, at the beginning of the summer, I remember thinking, wow she's nice. Then I was hanging out more and more with her daughter at the time, Alannah, so I got close to her family as well. The day we signed up at school, I had planned to ask her to be my godmommy, because I had come to be a bit close to her. But the second I put her name is emergancy contact, she imed me asking to be my godmommy. She beat me to it! From then one I hung out with and the family more and more,calling her Auntie Oprah and being called Lil Ethel. Days flew by and my SL fell apart, but through all of it she was there, ready to take me right in, and give me aplace called home, and people to call a family. It started from there, us getting closer and close. Texts, skype calls, all nighters in SL. we've had so much fun. She helped me through so much, stuck by me and cheered me up when I needed it. She protects me like I Imagine and real mother would, and for that I'm grateful. I promise to love her and always. She is my forever mommy.
